Job Title: NDE TechnicianPay Rate: $35/hrLocation: East Hartford, CTArea Code: 860, 959ZIP Code: 06118Start Date: Right AwayKeywords: #NDETech #AerospaceJobs #NDTJobs NDE Technician Job Description: * The preferred candidate will possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, and will work as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of scientist, engineers, and technicians responsible for the development of Nondestructive Evaluation methods * The candidate must possess an affinity for working independently and following instructions * The candidate must show ability to work both hands-on and with automated data collection systems * Key functions also include o Creating custom fixtures and tooling to meet critical inspection needs o Effective daily planning to achieve milestones as set by scientists or engineers o Using hand tools such as drills, strapping machine, pallet jack * Proctoring of data collection o Attention to detail o Potential Travel, domestic and/or international * The ideal candidate will learn and perform Nondestructive inspections   Basic Qualifications:  * AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) or NDT Level II in at least one NDT method * US person status is required    Preferred Qualifications:  * AA/AS Degree * Experience running process related equipment * Demonstrated success working across multi-functional organizations and with all levels of management  * Exhibited clear and effective communication, both verbal and written  * Confirmed effectiveness as a detail-oriented individual possessing the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible, fast-paced, and challenging environment to effectively meet deadlines  If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
